Dear world, what is better to see the rivalry got vanished? Kim Jong-un wrote a message that "A new history begins now - at the starting point of history and the era of peace." after he became the first North Korean leader to cross into South Korea over the military line that has divided the two nations since 1953. Mr Moon Jae, President of South Korea personally greeted Mr Kim with a handshake on the demarcation line in the border truce village of Panmunjom, in the demilitarized zone (DMZ) between the countries.

The rapprochement began in January when Mr Kim suggested he was "open to dialogue" with South Korea. The following month the two countries marched under one flag at the opening ceremony of the Winter Olympics. Mr Kim had met with senior officials of South Korea in March this year and afterwards it was announced that he would also meet Donald Trump, President of the USA.
Now, this is a great news for the world because we have seen the tension between the US and North Korea over the nuclear weapon. The relationship between two Korean neighbors was not good since the end of the Korean War in 1953.

Well, every detail of the trip has been precisely planned, right down to the food. Menu choices also brought a moment of humor when Mr Kim joked about bringing some of North Korea's famous cold noodles.
