"An investment in Knowledge
pays the best interest."
- Benjamin Franklin
It's evident to comprehend what the master Franklin wants to convey to us. Knowledge is the key to which one can unlock any type of locks. But knowledge is as vast and as deep as an ocean. There are varieties of the subject that human beings like to learn according to their interests or needs.
But also there are some skills which are universal in nature and it's advisable to learn to all. Those skills are known as soft skills. Communication is one part of soft skills - others are body language, personality development, cognitive learning, etc.
When you're reading about communication many people have the misconception that it has a connection with mass communication i.e., radio, television and print journalism. At some point, it has connection with mass communication. But here it is important to understand that the understanding of effective communication generally has significance for building up a healthy human relationship. As result, it helps us win!

Why should we learn effective communication?
All living things communicate. Plants, pets & wild animals, birds, insects and all of these kinds communicate. Even if you notice then you'll learn that our solar system and whole universe communicate. We start establishing communication since our inception to our demise. Now, the question arises that this phenomenon is so common then why should we learn to communicate effectively? - Because it's a little complex in its nature. But don't worry I'm here to help.
My experiments with teaching communication to little ones.
While graduating in journalism & mass communication I thought of bringing back this soft skill to my home where children are deprived of resources. My objective is to make them understand the nuances and basics of communication. As they are kids they have the tendency to learn faster. My endeavor is to sow the seed of learning in their school of mind.

First week:
I started my first class on the 04th of January, 2020. It was an introductory class where I told them the aforementioned utility of this very skill. They were keen to know more. I've chosen the modus operandi of interactive class with one-day theory and another day practical method. On 5th Jan., we had practical classes on how to introduce yourself.
They were little hesitant; lacking confidence but the start was good. Soon, you'll get to know their feedbacks. First, let us know your suggestions/ideas/views on our collective endeavor. After that, through me and this blog, the kids will be interacting with you.
Please comment and share with the one you care about! :)
