The research was carried out in order to find how well children of Bihar Bal Bhawan ‘Kilkari’, Patna understand the communication and its process. And I found that a few children actually comprehend the real meaning of communication. The majority of children are not aware of how communication functions effectively. Although, they are agreed upon it’s quite essential for us to understand this soft skill.

With a lack of vision to distinguish between communication and effective communication; they are in their opinion that they often use a verbal and written form of communication to communicate effectively. In contradicting to this, Albert Mehrabian’s theory speaks a slightly different thing.

Majority of students are afraid of being judged by their classmates, teachers, relatives, strangers in fact, by everyone. During my final project, I got the opportunity to know what is behind the anxious mind. And answer prompted is – lack of clear vision that how somebody should behave and carry oneself before the world.

Shakespeare once said, “the whole world is a stage and us individuals are merely an actor….” If it’s to believe then I also believe that we are under continuous surveillance until we die. And to act, pretend, understand, love, win and excel in our life well, we must learn this soft skill.
