Generally, human beings have a habit to share common, usual things which is the basic idea behind communication. In order to share our opinions, views, thoughts, feelings, reactions or maybe our frame of mind, we need to communicate.

When a message is communicated from the first person to the second and second person receives the message and in return gives his/her feedback, there is continuity in communication. It is an interdisciplinary concept because it is a blend of various disciplines such as sociology, psychology, history, science, linguistics, etymology etc.
Communication affects the entire society in a valuable manner. Because of communication, people in society are able to fulfill their basic requirements. Relationships in society can only be established when communication is strong. To make it even stronger, it is imperative to preserve the existing knowledge and culture of the society and pass it on to the next generation.

Therefore, Communication on one hand enhances an individual’s awareness, knowledge and personal growth and it also has the potential of advancement and development of the society.
