On 14th of January, the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu landed at Palam airport, New Delhi for the very first time visit to India. The Indian Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi broke the protocol and receives the felly at the airport, where they shared absolute warm embrace. Mr. Netanyahu has come with his wife Sara Netanyahu and Israeli officials.

“Indian Prime Minister (Narendra) Modi is a close friend of Israel and of mine and I appreciate the fact that he will accompany me on extensive parts of my visit, We are strengthening ties between Israel and this important global power.” Netanyahu said before leaving for New Delhi.
In reply to Netanyahu, PM Modi tweeted..,
“Welcome to India, my friend PM @netanyahu! Your visit to India is historic and special. It will further cement the close friendship between our nations,”
After the reception at airport, Modi and Netanyahu went directly to the Teen Murti chowk, it has now been changed from the Teen Murti chowk to the"Teen Murti-Haifa chowk".

Israel has invested $68.6 million in sectors like tourism, technology, agriculture and innovation for a period of four years.
As per the Press Information Bureau and Prime Minister of India's office reports, both the countries have signed nine agreements:
Memorandum of Understanding/MoU on Cyber Security Cooperation between India and Israel.
MoU between the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas and the Ministry of Energy on Cooperation in Oil and Gas sector.
Protocol between India and Israel on Amendments to the Air Transport Agreement.
Agreement on Film-co-production between India and Israel.
MoU between the Centre Council for Research in Homeopathy, Ministry of AYUSH and Integrative Complementary Medicine, Shared Zedek Medicine Centre on Cooperation in the field of Research in Homeopathic Medicine.
MoU between Indian Institute of Space and Technology (IIST) and the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology for Cooperation in the field of Space.
Memorandum of Intent between Invest India and Invest in Israel.
Letter of Intent between IOCL & Phinergy Ltd. for cooperation in the area of Metal-air batteries.
Letter of Intent between IOCL and Yeda Research and Development Co. Ltd. for cooperation in the area of Concentrated Solar Technologies.
Israel PM later went to see one of the wonders of the world the Taj Mahal along with his wife on Tuesday. On the same day, he has visited Delhi and participated in the Raisina Dialogue, where he was scheduled to deliver an inaugural speech.
Netanyahu had left for Ahmadabad on the fourth day of his tour and visited Sabarmati Ashram. The minister will also attend an event at the International Centre for Entrepreneurship and Technology (iCreate). He has later visited the Centre of Excellence, Vadrad.
On the same day, the minister has left for Mumbai. Where on Thursday, Netanyahu had a power breakfast with Indian CEOs and attended a business seminar. He has also laid a wreath at Taj Hotel Mumbai and pays a visit to Nariman House - Chabad Centre. He also reaches out to Bollywood personalities in an exclusive 'Shalom Bollywood' event that aims at exploring business opportunities for Indian filmmakers in Israel.

He left India with a tweet on January 19th. Benjamin Netanyahu, PM of Israel’s tweet reads:
"Thank you to my dear friend, Prime Minister @narendramodi, for the warm hospitality in India. The honor you have shown me and the people of Israel will always be remembered. Together we are bringing the relationship between our people and our countries to new heights."
