News writing in print journalism conforms to rigorous style. News stories begin with lead, an opening sentence that concisely indicates the subject and action of the story and entices the audience to read the story.

In the second semester, I learned about the nuances associated with it. I have read about different types of leads, headlines and news beats.

Along with this, I have also read and used traditional and modern editing methods in order to accomplish my assignment.
